Great doctor, very smart and experienced. Definitely listens and is able to provide reasonable differential diagnoses. But... he is that brilliant guy you knew in college that was never to class on time, and made a 4.0 GPA anyway. "Little" things like prescriptions getting sent to the pharmacy and referrals to other doctors tend to fall through the cracks, so you must be diligent in following up with his staff. Manage your own health care and you will love this doctor. If you want the doctor to manage your healthcare, go somewhere else.

I have had a couple of insurance issues that they took care of quickly and in all cases professionally. The office personal just like Dr. Sankar are second to none.

She said the doctor is sick & they will get back to me when they can. She pointed out she got my three messages (I actually left only one message.)

I had been looking for a DOCTOR for years. I found Dr Sankar by accident a couple of years ago and have no intention of making any changes to my health care professional for years to come.

My first visit was a long ordeal, we talked and I mean talked. he asked questions, lots of them, I gave answers and he listened carefully to everything I had to and still have to say.

My wife also sees Dr. Sankar and is very confident is his ability. We like his staff and his office dog.

Day #11: (Monday, 8/28) I called Dr. Sankar’s office. Nobody answered. A message said the office will be closed the week of 8/28, returning 9/5. I tried to leave a message, however the mailbox is full. There is no indication of anyone covering for Dr. Sankar, while he is away.

Dr. Sankar and his staff are very friendly and caring. He takes time to talk to you and understand what you are experiencing. He does run late - bring a book.

Day #6: I called & left a message.

ISSUE #1

I heard nothing back from them.

ISSUE #2

I never received a call back. The next time I saw Dr. Sankar, I explained the issue and he ignored me and just moved on with the visit, without ever addressing the issue.

I find this behavior unacceptable for anyone, particularly a Doctor.

Day #1: I spoke to someone on the phone. She said she would get back to me the next day.

Day #6: (Wednesday, 8/23) I ran out of my medication.

Because of his desire and ability to listen, ask questions and properly diagnose a couple of my issues, got me off of one medication and on a proper line of health.

Dr. Sankar is a great listener and will spend time with you. My background is a former executive with top rated hospitals and Doctors in the Detroit area. When I first met Dr. Sankar we discussed my medical issues and made some new recommendations. The changes have helped my health.

I never received a call back. Nor, did I ever get a refill on my medication.

====================================================

Dr. Sankar was been my Primary Care Physician from October 2016 to August 2017. I will no longer be seeing him. His office is rude and unresponsive.

I was running out of one of my prescription medications.

Day #1: (Friday, 8/18) I called Dr. Sankar’s office. Nobody answered. I left a message, explaining I would run out of one of my medications & asking them to please call in a refill.

Day #9: (Saturday, 8/26) I called the pharmacy. They have no prescription refill for me.

I had a fairly simple question of the doctor.

Day #7: I called a number of times from my cell phone. Every time, it went to voice mail. I called from my home phone & it was answered immediately, implying she was screening my calls!

Day #8: (Friday, 8/25) I called Dr. Sankar’s office. Brenda answered. She assured me they would call in my refill that day.

Day #5: (Tuesday, 8/22) I called Dr. Sankar’s office. Again, nobody answered.
